This light has the following functions:
Continued normal driving with low brake fluid
level is dangerous.
If the brake fluid level is correct ...
This light warns that the battery is being discharged. This light warns that there is a problem somewhere is your engine electrical system. If it comes on while you are driving, have your vehicle checked/repaired by your Toyota delaer as soon as possible. This light comes on when the fuel level in the tank becomes nearly empty. Fill up the tank as soon as possible.
The light warns that the engine oil is to low. Add oil as soon as possible. (For instructions, see
Checking the Engine Oil Level) Anti-lock Brake System Warning Light
This light warns that there is a problem somewere in your anti-lock brake system.
When the anti-lok brake system warning light is on (and the brake system warning light is off),
the brake system operates conventionally but without anti-lock function. This light remains on until all the side doors are completely closed. Rear Bulb Failure Warning Light
If this light comes on when the headlight switch is turned on (at the
second or third clickstop), it indicates that one or more of the tail lights are burned out
(all models) or the "TAIL (RH)" or "TAIL (LH)" fuse has blown out (Germany only). Engine Temperature Warning Light and Buzzer
The light and buzzer operate at high speeds to warn that the engine is almost overheating. This buzzer will sound when the driver's door is opened if the ignition switch is turned to the "LOCK" position with the headlight switch on. Removing the key will not stop the buzzer as long as the headlight switch is on. CHECKING WARNING LIGHTS (except the low fuel level warning light)
